It's hard for me to believe, but another year is gone. Today is the last day before Seth turns three years old: such a big boy. He only keeps getting bigger everyday.
I stayed up last night putting together a birthday crown for our celebrations tomorrow. The crown is a tradition that we started last year, and I'll try to continue for birthdays to come. My boy felt so special and proud when I took him for a birthday morning milkshake last year, and he slurped down the sweet breakfast with his crown perched right on his head.
We have a small party planned for tomorrow afternoon. There'll be pizza and just a few close family members. Seth requested strawberry cake with blue icing, so I'm going to try my best to pull that off. I'm planning a big, special birthday breakfast and a relaxed afternoon making sure my boy knows he's the best little one in the whole wide world.

Aww, I love idea of a birthday crown. What a cute tradition. I hope you and Seth have a wonderful day together. Good luck with the blue icing!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a birthday crown! Three is such a fun age, but such a bittersweet one. My daughter started getting really independant around three. They're definitely not sweet little babies anymore...
ReplyDeleteI hope you two have a wonderful day and Seth has a very happy birthday!
