I found this recipe in an old cookbook that was left in the cabinet over our refrigerator by the folks that lived here before us. The cookbook is one of those church fundraiser type books, where every woman in the congregation is invited to submit her favorite recipes. Well, you know.... Every church must have a comedienne. I saw it in the Bible once, I promise. You know, somewhere after the tenth skin disease listed in the book of Leviticus.
No, I am not our church's designated comedienne.

I found this recipe in a Wizard of Oz cookbook I picked up at a local used bookstore a few weeks ago. It caught me by surprise! Certainly something that's not going to be on my plate any time soon!
