gratitude v. 9

FILED UNDER: books, Eric, faith, friends, gratitude, motherhood, Seth, thyroidectomyI have been allowing more time for myself every day. Bet you didn't notice? I have. It feels so good.
My thyroidectomy is being rescheduled: details on what's happening with that will be coming very soon. For now, just know that my thyroid levels now appear to be well controlled and I am doing okay.
Blog friends. Who knew? My days are better because of you, you and you.
Weekly play dates with a real-life friend and her funny, sweet children. Camaraderie in the pits of this war called motherhood.
When I pray about what lies ahead, God assures me that He will cause me to desire the things of His own heart and He will make the journey possible. This week, I received a direct answer to the question of direction in my course. Now I need the courage to persevere!
Books. Lots of them. Always.
Getting lots and lots of ideas for school days ahead.
Big boy underwear. Bye-bye diapers!
When all the other kids are grabbing sodas from the cooler in the cafe, my boy asks me to get him a cup of milk.
Eric's almost finished with working overnight shifts at his current project. This time.
xoxo, Sarah.
